Abstract

We investigated the relationship between exposure to home language mixing, and behavioral and electrophysiological correlates of bilingual children’s executive function skills. We found that home language mixing predicts P3b (ERP) amplitudes, and that home language mixing predicts behavioral switch costs when also accounting for variation in P3b (ERP) latencies.
