Abstract

We examined the links between other-oriented perfectionism (OOP) and unmet attachment needs (n=193). OOP was negatively correlated with anxious attachment and positively correlated with avoidant attachment. OOP was positively linked with unmet selfobject needs. The findings were consistent with previous research showing a relationship between OOP and attachment insecurity.
