Abstract

The current research examined the effect of one person’s public condoning or condemning of discrimination on another’s stated attitudes towards discrimination against Blacks, Hispanics and Muslims. Results showed that regardless of the group in question, there was an effect of social influence and people’s responses were skewed towards condemning discrimination.
