Abstract
Disgust-sensitive people are prone to hold negative attitudes toward out-group members. The present research discovered short-term mindfulness training as an effective way to dampen the disgust response, as captured by the Late Positive Potential(LPP). Mindfulness may promote prosocial attitudes by improving abilities to regulate feelings of disgust.
