Abstract

Cognitive profiles of five adults with childhood hemispherectomy (3 right, 2 left) were assessed using the WAIS-III. All participants attained average scores on Verbal Comprehension. All right hemispherectomy patients had average scores on Working Memory and impaired scores on Processing Speed. No consistent deficits were seen in left hemispherectomy.
