Anxiety and Depression Mediate the Relationship between Stress and Psychological and Physiological Response

The current study continues the work of a pilot study in which college student’s depression and anxiety mediated the relationship between stress and affect. In addition to a larger sample size, this study expands previous findings by examining significant mediating relationships of depression and anxiety between heart rate and stress.
