Abstract

Our research group of social scientists and educators co-created and validated a novel pre-kindergarten formative assessment system designed to reduce the achievement gap. We provided the system to teachers and compared their experimental classrooms to control classrooms in an RCT. Students in experimental classrooms had significantly higher standardized math scores.
