Abstract

This study seeks to optimize the methodology in assessing relations between anxiety and mood behaviors and impairment in preschool-aged children. Results indicate that a daily diary method yields a stronger association between behaviors and impairment than other typical methods. These data enhance assessment of early emerging anxiety and mood behaviors.
