Abstract

We hypothesized Christian primes would increase racial prejudice. Following an explicit Christian prime, Christians low in right-wing authoritarianism (RWA) exhibited more explicit preference for White people over Black and Latino(a) people (i.e., more prejudice). However, high RWA Christians exhibited lower preference for White people over Black people (i.e., less prejudice).
