The Relationship between Empathy and Prosocial Intentions after Experiencing Gratitude for Helping Behavior

The current study explored whether participants experienced increased empathy for an individual going through distress if gratitude is given for helping behavior. The study also explored whether participants would have increased intent to engage in prosocial actions after receiving gratitude for helping behavior.
