Abstract

We evaluated the impact of a mobile mindset intervention on first-year college students’ academic performance, and the relationship between their ratings of adversity and social belonging. Better academic outcomes were observed for first-year students. Social belonging was related to students’ daily adversity, but was unrelated to their first-semester GPA.
