Abstract

Emotional body expressions are understudied in the current literature, despite their importance in accurate and naturalistic emotion recognition abilities. This study examined the eye-movement patterns of 40 school-aged children while viewing bodily expressions of happy, sad, angry, fearful, and neutral emotions. Results indicated significant viewing differences across and within emotions.
