Trait Anxiety's Relationship to Executive Functioning and Cell Phone Dependency in College-Aged Adults

Researchers were interested in the degree to which self-reported trait anxiety (TA) was related to executive functioning and cellphone use/dependency. Participants completed the STAI, EFI, and a cellphone dependence survey. Analyses revealed significant differences between TA groups on measures of mood, organization, executive functioning, emotional reactivity, and cellphone dependency.
