Abstract
Resting heart rate variability has frequently been linked to individual difference measures (e.g., emotion regulation). What is often missing from the literature, however, is the many cases where such relationships are not observed. The current presentation demonstrates non-significant correlations between HRV and eight individual difference measures across four in-lab studies.
