Sensitivity to Reward and Punishment Predicts Diversity of Prospective Risky Behaviours

Abstract

The relationship between sensitivity to reward and punishment and propensity for risky behaviours is largely unknown. The current study found that increases in sensitivity to punishment and reward each uniquely predict engagement in more risky behaviours one month later, particularly for restricting and binge eating.
