Abstract

In a sample of 254 older adolescents, we used latent class analysis to test whether youth friendships could be categorized based on self- and peer-reported discrepancies in neuroticism. The evidence supported three classes. Two classes were characterized by high discrepancy and one class was characterized by similarity across these reports.
