Considering Group Differences in Grit on Academic Performance and Commitment

Educational research on grit has yielded mixed results. In the current study, forty-four undergraduates self-reported their academic commitment, academic performance, and grit. Group differences in grit were found on performance, but not commitment. These findings contribute to the understanding of how grit impacts students’ academic success.
