Growth Mindsets and Student Voice: A Mindset Intervention Enhancing Perceived Support and Student Engagement

Abstract
A six-week, treatment/control intervention improved adolescents' growth mindsets and classroom engagement. The intervention included a neuroanatomy lab using plastinated brains and individualized mindset practice sessions. Perceived teacher support for voice mediated the link between mindset and voice. The treatment group's voice and incremental thinking improved relative to control group.
