The Influence of Negative Bias Theory in Art Stimuli with Consideration of Art Familiarity

Artworks as stimulus were used to further support negativity bias theory with incorporation of art familiarity. Results as follows: negativity bias in artworks was supported, p < .001, difference in memory of negative artworks were found, p = .001, and art familiarity does not counter the effects of negativity bias.
