The Effects of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Disclosure and ASD Symptomology on the Perception of Job Candidates in Interview Vignettes

Preliminary results indicate that increasing employer knowledge of Autism Spectrum disorder (ASD) may positively impact the employment rates of individuals with ASD. In addition, although further research is needed, these results suggest that disclosing an ASD diagnosis during an interview setting may be beneficial when job applicants show ASD symptomology.
