Abstract
Our study examined the effects of adolescents’ anxious mood on their fathers’ work-family conflict via an emotional contagion process. The daily diary data suggest that adolescents’ anxious mood states lead to an increase in fathers’ next-day anxiety, which then increases fathers’ family-to-work conflict and work-to-family conflict one day later.
