Abstract
The visual representation of female and underrepresented minority (URM) STEM leaders in a university setting was examined. Results indicate that there is a dearth of women and URMs depicted pictorially, particularly relative to the gender and racial composition of the undergraduate and faculty populations. Implications of these disparities are discussed.
