Abstract

This study investigated the differences in Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and serial ketamine infusion effectiveness in reducing rumination among severely depressed participants. Results suggest both ketamine and ECT are effective in reducing both brooding and reflection ruminative subscales, however, serial ketamine therapy may be more effective at reducing brooding than ECT.
