Enacting Action in Virtual Environments: Risk, Movement and Controller Realism

Research has demonstrated people treat digital environments such as VR as if they were real. This research investigates some of the factors that could support users in leveraging their existing real world representations. Specifically, this work investigates the perceived cues of task risks, movement and controller realism in performing actions.
