Context Facilitates the Decoding of Lexically Ambiguous Words for Adults with Low Literacy

Abstract
Eye movement data were collected from adults with low literacy skills while they read sentences that contained lexically ambiguous words or control words. Additionally, we manipulated context strength and context location. Results revealed these readers are sensitive to ambiguity and context.
