Abstract

This study explores the moderating influences of ego identity exploration on the links between parent-child relations and self-esteem during emerging adulthood. Results indicate that ego identity exploration levels do impact the links between parent-child relationships (trust, communication, alienation) and adjustment (namely, self-esteem).
