Dietary Patterns in the Wild: Fiber and Fat Consumption Relates to Memory and Executive Function in Older Adults

Abstract
We know that food intake strongly influences physical health, but little is known about how cognitive function may be affected. Using cross-sectional data, we found that high fiber intake and a low ratio of saturated to polyunsaturated fat intake was related to better performance on cognitive tasks.
