Abstract

The present study examined the impact of experimenter-created Instagram posts on a diverse sample of emerging adult participants’ alcohol cravings. Participants viewed Instagram posts, which showed an attractive or unattractive poster with or without alcohol. Results suggest that alcohol users had stronger alcohol cravings after viewing alcohol on Instagram.
