Abstract
The study suggested that with the pressure to receive positive evaluations and acceptance from peers, adolescents feel more motivated in both behaviors and emotions to participate in class discussions. SAI encourages students to achieve prosocial goals that are distinctly desired by adolescents and intrinsically turn them into active classroom participants.
