Abstract

A growing body of research has identified subcomponents of continuance commitment: perceived personal sacrifice commitment based on favorable economic exchanges and commitment due to low job alternatives. This study demonstrated that by adding commitment due to favorable social exchanges with supervisors/coworkers, we can make a better prediction of turnover intention.
