Abstract

Zest is a relatively new personality construct describing energy, excitement, and enthusiasm for life. Recent explorations and applications of non-cognitive abilities have included zest as a positive correlate of well-being and academic success. This study tests zest as a construct and a meaningful predictor of grades and life satisfaction.
