Abstract

Differences between oral contraceptive users and naturally cycling women have been observed in several psychological domains, but it is unclear whether they reflect exogenous sex hormones or personal characteristics related to pill use. This well-powered study found no evidence for personality differences between groups, suggesting a role for hormones.
