Examining the Effect of Wise Interventions and Gender on Mental Health Help-Seeking Intentions

The effect of three brief “wise interventions” on individuals’ intention to seek help for mental health issues was examined. Results indicated that female participants reported a greater intention to seek help for mental health issues after receiving a social comparison focused intervention compared to male participants.
