Abstract

Emerging adults’ ethnicity significantly moderated the relation between their environmental mastery and suicidality. Specifically, environmental mastery was negatively associated with suicidality for Asian-American emerging adults. However, this association was not significant for European-American emerging adults. Environmental mastery may be particularly significant for ethnic minority emerging adults’ mental health.
