Reliance on Host Cultural Knowledge By Expatriate Managers in Conflict Inducing Context

This research explored the role of expat’s host cultural knowledge and epistemic needs on their work decisions for the local subordinates and the associated intentions. We found that managers with high epistemic security and high host cultural knowledge would have more concern about conflict potential with the local subordinates.
