Abstract
We studied gender differences in economic decisions and evaluating economic outcomes. We found women are more risk averse than men and are more emotionally impacted by economic outcomes. We did not find evidence that gender differences in risk aversion was mediated by differences in the emotional impact of economic outcomes.
