Abstract

This study examined profiles of Chilean 9th graders´ optimal learning moments (e.g., experiences of interest, skills, and challenge) during physics classes. Three latent homogeneous groups were identified according to students’ situational experiences. The three groups were characterized by: high skills and challenge, low interest, and high interest and skills groups.
