Abstract

Patients obey treatment regimen differently; hence, personality factors may enhance maintenance of prosthetic devices. This study investigates the relationship between self-esteem and denture self-efficacy of 28 new denture wearers. Result revealed that high self-esteem participants significantly expressed high denture self-efficacy. Educating low self-esteem patients is important in maintaining new dentures.
