Abstract

Diversity in organizations can have numerous positive consequences such as heightened creativity and innovation. However, we found that diversity can also lead to an increased need for cognitive closure, especially for high routine and interdependent tasks. This, in turn, is associated with higher compliance to harsh power tactics.
