Overcoming the Rater Bias in Psychological Risk Assessment

Abstract

After conducting psychological risk assessments significant Inter-Rater Agreement resulted for employee ratings of the same job task. Inter-Rater Reliability was significant for employee ratings compared to observed ratings if the observer group consisted of occupational health and safety professionals and employee representatives. Bland-Altman Plots support the reliability of this finding.
