Unpacking Social Class: Life Constraints and Sense of Control Among Adolescents

Abstract
A correlational study was conducted to test if the association found between social class and sense of control in prior studies, is mediated by the experience of life constraints. A researcher-made scale was used to measure adolescents’ experience of social class-based constraints. Results provided support for the research hypothesis.
