Are Males Unfairly Punished? Examining the Effect Sex Offender Gender Has on Severity of Punishment.

This study examined whether the gender of a sex offender plays a role in the severity of the punishment they receive for their crime. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference between gender and the amount of punishment sex offenders received for their crime.
