Abstract

Anxiety and depression are best differentiated from one another by focusing on the factor specific to each type of disorder (physiological hyperarousal and positive affect). Data are presented from 446 young adults and 537 high school students to test the factorial stability of the Mood and Anxiety Symptom Questionnaire (MASQ).
