Abstract

We examined the diurnal course of testosterone as a function of life history of aggression in men (n = 19) and women (n = 17). Analyses indicated that five-hour T fluctuations (9:30 AM through 2:30 PM) were moderated by past aggression. This pattern, however, emerged for men but not women.
