Abstract

People who read psychoeducation and recovery story posts on Facebook showed improved attitudes and reduced stigma towards people with mental illness. Moreover, the effect of reading recovery stories on attitude improvement and stigma reduction was moderated by compassion, nonattachment, and interconnectedness.
