Animals can also be the target of social-perception，people hold different stereotypes about different kinds of animals. Based on the structure of the Stereotype Content Model (SCM), animals’ stereotypes may be explained by animals showing intent toward humans (warmth dimension) and their potential effect on humans (competence dimension).
