Who Gives?! Perceived Fairness in Agentic Vs. Non Agentic Redistribution

Participants inherited an advantaged or disadvantaged resource status, then rated the fairness of redistributing resources more equitably. Compared to disadvantaged participants, advantaged participants thought that resource redistribution was less fair. Both groups thought it was more fair for the advantaged participant, rather than a third party, to initiate this redistribution.
