Abstract

This project utilized text messaging to support evidence-based practices. Students received daily quiz questions, which supported and encouraged practice testing, distributed practice, and interleaved practice. Students also predicted their exam scores. Students who were more engaged with the questions and more calibrated in their exam estimates performed better on exams.
