Mental Health Needs in Northern Ontario First Nations Children and Youth

Mental health treatment needs were identified within a community based First Nations sample (N = 177) using the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths Assessment. The findings are notably different from past research with Indigenous children and youth. Needs overlapped with transdiagnostic mechanisms and high levels of comorbidity were demonstrated.
