Abstract

In two previous replications of Bandura’s Bobo doll experiment, we have discovered that children today rarely imitate from aggressive films models. Here we found that children did imitate when presented with enhanced aggression eliciting stimuli. However, children still imitated much less compared to the levels reported in the original studies.
